1The Mack is Back – Khaligraph Jones ft Bridget Blue

Khaligraph Jones is onto a throwback vibe with the new track The Mack is Back featuring Bridget Blue. The song blends both hip-hop and soul. Bridget incorporates her RnB sound and Khaligraph marks it with his bars. The song is currently trending at #25 on YouTube. The audio is produced by Murithi Myna and Khaligraph Jones. The Mack is Back is derived off the original instrumental by Mark Morrison’s Return of the Mac.

2. Nyumbani – Njerae

Afro-Indie artist Njerae has released her new single Nyumbani. With the official visualizer out, Nyumbani serves as Njerae’s second single after her signing at Universal Music Group. The song serves as a journey of nostalgia, exploring themes of love, loss, and the enduring power of home. The record speaks to Njerae taking a lover home with her after expressing her desire and interest in him. Njerae ventures into the Amapiano sound in the new track. Nyumbani is produced by renowned Nigerian producer WondaMagik.

3. Vibes & Vokals – Wanavokali

Music group Wanavokali have released their new album Vibes & Vokals. The album consists of 10 tracks with three collaborations featuring Nyokabi Macharia on the intro, Brandy Maina and Iyanii. The artworks of the album are done by visual director Kirika Washington. Music producer Wuod Omollo dominates the production of most of the album. Other producers in the album include popular Gengetone producer Motif Di Don, Eric Musyoka, and Adabia Beatz. Hela which is the last track in the album has its official video out.

4. Mteja – Arrowbwoy

Arrowbwoy is standing on business with his new single Mteja. Arrowbwoy declares a bold statement for being unavailable for negativity or distraction. He echoes that his availability is based on business and good vibes. The chorus “Niko Mteja , sipatikani , kama si biashara sipatikani ,” emphasizes his focus on business and making money. Mteja blends Afrobeat and dancehall and is produced by Alexis on the beat.

5. Light Work – Trio Mio

Trio Mio has released his latest single Light Work. The track explores the themes of confidence, ambition, and resilience. The music video directed by Trey Juelz is in a gym setting with exercises where Trio boasts of his prowess. The line, ‘Kaa wee ni rapper, dem wa mpesa ni accountant,’ brings Trio’s lyricism making him a celebrated young rapper in Kenya. The song’s title suggests that everything may seem challenging to others but it’s effortless for him. Lightwork is produced by Maxeem Beats.
